Logistics Personnel Training
LPs serve in a large variety of positions to help with any additional operations at large events. An overview of different possible positions include:
Ensemble Check-in
Meet with directors/ensemble staff to provide any new event information, collect unsold tickets (if applicable), and collect ticket sales money (if applicable)
Volunteer/Staff Check-in
Meet with volunteers and Event Staff to go over any new event information, show them where to go for their shifts, and answer any questions
Concourse and Vendor Lead
Meet with the vendors setting up in the concourse to go over any new event information, show them where to set up and can find supplies (if available), and answer any questions. Additionally, work with the volunteers selling airgrams/candygrams/programs to make sure all is running smoothly
Parking and External Ops Lead
Work with the bus drivers, truck drivers, and spectators to park in the designated areas and answer any questions they may have
Event Flow
In large stadiums, more than the GC and FC are needed to help ensembles move throughout. Having additional Staff at major points allows us to stay on schedule and reduce confusion
