Event Manager Training
EMs act as the day-of-event lead for larger USBands events. EMs are responsible for coordinating logistics between the USBands Event Staff team, the event co-host or volunteer teams, and the participating ensembles.
EMs should be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Display outwardly-friendly demeanor
- Follow procedure to ensure consistency of experience for students
- Have at least 2 years experience in other USBands Event Staff team roles
